• Name: Your name (if you choose to share it with us)
• Email Address: Your email (if you choose to share it with us)

1.2 Fitness Data

We store the following fitness-related data you create:

• Workouts: Exercise logs, sets, reps, weights, and workout notes
• Programs: Custom workout programs you create
• Weight Entries: Your body weight tracking data
• Preferences: Fitness goals, weight units, and app settings

1.3 Exercise Database

The app includes a database of 3,242 exercises with video demonstrations. This database is stored locally on your device and is not synced to the cloud.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Core Functionality

• Provide workout tracking and logging features
• Display your progress and analytics
• Sync your data across your Apple devices
• Maintain your account and preferences

2.2 Data Sync

Your fitness data is automatically synced to your private iCloud account. This ensures:

• Your data is backed up securely
• You can access your data on all your Apple devices
• Your progress is never lost

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 iCloud Private Database

Your personal fitness data is stored in your private iCloud database using Apple's CloudKit service. This means:

• Private: Only you can access your data
• Encrypted: Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
• Secure: Protected by your Apple ID credentials
• Not Shared: We cannot access your personal fitness data

3.2 Local Storage

Some data is stored locally on your device:

• Exercise database (3,242 exercises)
• Template workout programs
• App preferences and settings

4. Data Sharing

4.1 Third-Party Services

We use the following Apple services:

• Sign in with Apple: For secure authentication
• iCloud CloudKit: For data sync and backup

5. Your Rights and Choices

5.1 Access Your Data

You can view all your data within the app at any time.

5.2 Delete Your Account

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time.

To permanently delete your account:

1. Open the app and go to the Profile tab
2. Scroll to "Account Actions"
3. Tap "Delete Account"
4. Confirm deletion twice (two-step confirmation)

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• All workout logs and exercise data
• All custom programs and routines
• All weight tracking entries
• Your user profile and preferences
• All data synced to your iCloud account

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Alternatively, you can:

• Delete individual workouts, programs, or weight entries within the app
• Sign out temporarily without deleting your data
• Delete the app from your device (removes local data only)

5.3 Export Your Data

Your data is stored in standard formats and can be accessed through your iCloud account.

6. Children's Privacy

Lift Log is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Your data is stored in your private iCloud account and follows Apple's data retention policies.

9. International Users

Your data is stored in iCloud, which may store data in various locations worldwide. By using Lift Log, you consent to the transfer of your information to iCloud's servers.
